Return to Year-Round

Sixth Grade Activities

Your student has become a Sixth Grader! What?! Where did the time go!

This transitional year can be exciting and a little sad as they leave Belle Aire for their next adventure. Several events for sixth grade students are held to celebrate their time at Belle Aire and keep up the excitement for moving into a new adventure at Herrick!

We will miss you Sixth Graders, but we are so PROUD of you! You’ll always be Bulldogs to us!

Halfway to Herrick Virtual Trivia Party

Yearbook Cover Art

6th graders’ art submissions are due Thursday, February 24th. All submissions are directed to Mr. McDermott either in-person or electronically.  The all-school vote for the cover will be held on Monday, March 1st.  All students will be able to view all options during the SEL portion of the day–both in hybrid and in fully-remote classrooms.

Sixth Grade Breakfast/Farewell

We are thrilled to offer our students the chance to come together and enjoy breakfast as a whole group. While we aren’t able to provide a large-scale experience, we are hoping that this will provide another memory for our sixth graders as they transition out of Belle Aire and into middle school. The breakfast will be held outside on Friday, June 4, from 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and will consist of prepackaged items including a muffin, gogurt, fruit and a juice. Students will be seated at least six feet apart while eating, and all other safety protocols will remain in place. Our fully remote sixth graders are also invited to participate in this and would be on campus with us only for the 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. breakfast.
